About Course

This course equips healthcare professionals and aspiring IV technicians with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver safe, effective intravenous therapy. You will explore the foundations of IV therapy — from circulatory system anatomy and fluid balance to catheter selection, aseptic technique, and infection prevention.

Step-by-step guidance covers both peripheral and central line insertion, infusion pump operation, and medication compatibility. The course also addresses the unique needs of pediatric, geriatric, and chronically ill patients. Upon completing all modules and passing the 60-question final exam with a minimum score of 78%, you will be prepared to pursue certification and confidently perform IV therapy across a range of clinical settings.
